Welcome to the Marion County Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) webpage. The Marion County ARES Team is a group of amateur radio operators who voluntarily provide communications services to our local community during emergencies and in the time of need.  To facilitate doing that efficiently we also participate in local events and public service projects which provide training and communications experience for our volunteers.

Deployment Exercise & Net Demo

February Training

The MC ARES January training session will take place on Saturday February 27th at 9 AM at the Salvation Army EDS facility located at 4020 Georgetown Road. The topic for this session will be the NBEMS and the trainer for this session will be Matthew, W9SOX. All Amateur's are welcome, you do not have to be a MC ARES volunteer to attend. NWS Spotter Training

Training in Marion County will take place at 9 AM on Saturday March 12th at the Salvation Army EDS facility at 4020 Georgetown Road.
